WILLOW SELECTION
We only use real English willow to make cricket bats. England has the best climate for growing willow and nothing can compare. We use all types of willow to make cricket bats, as not all players need or want high quality willow.
PROFILE
Each player has a different story. This is developed by how they learnt their technique, players they grew up wanting to be and the personality of the player in general. We have a large range of different shapes that we can recommend to players that will suit their style. Once the profile has been decided, it is all about selecting the right cleft according to the weight and size of the bat.
PRESHAPING
Our entire bat making process is traditional and all our bats are handmade no matter the size and weight we are trying to achieve. Our shapes are designed in house that gives players ultimate control over the profiles.
SUPLISING
The splice and handle cutting saw is used to get a perfect fit between blades and handles every time.
HANDLE SELECTION
We provide industry leading customization in this area. Thin, standard, thick and ultra-thick options are available with round, semi oval and oval handle shapes. Handle lengths such as super short, short and long are available.
SHAPING
After pre-shaping and handle is set we use traditional wood working tools including hollowing planes, drawknives, heal shaves, travishes and spoke shaves to finalize the shape.
TOE SHAPES
Toes are really a personal preference and we offer these in round, square and ultra-round
SANDING
Infinity cricket bats require a lot of sanding. Our cricket bats go through 3 rounds of sanding to give them a great finish ready for polishing.
POLISHING
After the sanding is done the polishing process starts. Infinity bats are polished until it has a nice smooth finish with a hint of glossiness to it to show off the grains of the bat.
BINDING
Premium binding is used on all infinity bats to ensure a great feeling under the grip. The handle gets bound to the blade to keep the joint secure when while it hits thousands of balls each season.
STICKERS
After all above work is done and the master piece is ready our unique and premium stickers are ready to go on to the bats according to the edition.
GRIP
All infinity bats come with different color grips according to its model. We only use premium quality grips as they are super durable and very grippy.
